"It's Always Something!" ~ Gilda Radner

This snowy morning as we started out to do errands . . . . the car would not start. Not even a click. A neighborly jump and a new battery later, Anthony is on his way to work at The Mill Property and I have a day at home for rest, recovery (from tooth extraction), creativity and even cooking! It was so easy for a small circumstance to give me a negative attitude. I thank God He reminded me of all there is to be thankful for in my life. The car battery fell into perspective as a minor inconvenience.

"The Storage Space that Gives Back!"

That's what I call our spot at The Mill Property Antiques. Finally, an outlet through which our wild collection of Vintage Stuffe can overflow! It's a great place to browse and daydream.

"The Mill" is on Route 23 in Morgantown PA, just off the Morgantown exit of the PA Turnpike. Say Anthony & Jennifer sent you!

How did I not know?

How did I not know there was a multi-room rummage shop around the corner from our house??? That is, until Anthony came home today exclaiming, "Let's go, they're closing up!" A Giant Moving Sale is on until the end of the month!

We hunted through boxes with flashlights, found empty boxes for our treasures as we went. Vintage aprons, dish towel, curtains, pillows, serving trays, percolators! A white wicker dresser! Clothing racks! Records! He's still there.

The Painting Over Our Desk

I fell in love with this painting signed AKM 74, and purchased it at a porch sale in Lancaster City. It is about 30 inches wide by 40 inches high. If anyone knows who AKM is please let me know. Thank you!

The Lamp Next to Our Desk

Vintage lace is perfect for hanging decorations, bundling items and attaching tags. (Is there a reason all the Christmas ornaments need to be put away?)

The carved zebra and giraffe necklace migrated to the lamp from the nearby mirror. The balloon sketch is my design for Gala decorations ~ they came out exactly like that!

Check out my Glitter Glue wave painting on the top frame of the bulletin board.

The Lamp on Our Desk

My pink-jeweled crown wand; the elegant ribbon from the Valentine treat Anthony surprised me with February 12th; a red silk and velvet band, a vintage tinsel tassel: miscellaneous frippery, gradually gathered.
Then there are the frolicking heart stickers with Opaque Writer detailing on the computer monitor . . .

Welcome to my World
